EXCITING UPDATE:

Did you know that our very own Carole Simonini Lisson wrote and published a book?

It is with pride that we share Carole’s accomplishment with all of you and, get this, Carole is sharing right back.  All the proceeds from every sale of Carole’s book that is sold on Amazon goes to Feed My Starving Children.  That is right.  Feed My Starving Children is the organization we are dedicating our time and energy to on Saturday morning, June 11.

Carole’s book is entitled Hope. It was published in 2018. One of the reviews on Amazon states,  “This is a powerful short story of love, longing, selflessness, sacrifice, and redemption. It is an effective allegory for our own journeys. The illustrations are beautifully rendered and it will captivate pre-school and elementary age children.”  Although written for children, Carole explains that Hope will speak to any age and may even prompt lively discussion among adults.

When Carole spoke to the reunion team about this beautiful offering, Jack Campbell told us that each dollar Carole’s book raises will feed a child a nutritious meal for four days.  One dollar/four days.  A little goes a long ways.

Jack also spoke of generosity. Generosity comes in all forms i.e. time, talent and treasure. Carole’s act of generosity is an example of all three.  We can join Carole and Jack and all our classmates by giving our time and energy on Saturday, June 11 from 9am to 11am when we meet at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg.

Carole's book Hope can be purchased on Amazon.  When you search Amazon, type in "Carole Lisson"  and  her book Hope will come up.  If you order now, it would be a perfect Easter gift for the grands or a great summer read.
